Special editions are named special because they are, but some people do think differently. This No2/50 Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster from an owner in Beverly Hills was shipped from the Lamborghini dealership directly to several tuning companies in the neigbourhood.
The supercar was stripped down to the metal and the complete interior was removed. A matte black paint job with gloss black highlights and brand new interior was installed. But that was not all. It also got 19-inch GFG three-piece forged alloy wheels with a glossy black outer lip, matte black center and orange highlights. The custom made rims got Pirelli P-Zero 245/30/19 front and 355/25/19 rear tires.
The final modification was a full new audio system including Focal Utopia KIT 7 component 3-way speakers powered by two Alpine PDX series amplifiers with over 1600 watts of power, and an Escort SRX radar detector with the main controller mounted on the center console.
We generally think this is a bit too much, especially the way they implemented the audio system setup. Your thoughts?

Chrome Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster shows up in London
Certain vehicles with Italian surnames reach such pinnacles of aesthetic glory that even the slightest bit of after-market chrome serves only to cheapen and detract from their true worth. The purveyors of tastelessness responsible for the monstrosity pictured above made the executive decision to forego the chrome 22’s and instead wrap the entire Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 in heinous, over-the-top chromage. Words fail.
According to World Car Fans, that’s not even real chrome finish, but an adhesive foil plastered onto the car with chrome splashed on. Apparently, the car has been seen making turns and lowering real estate value up and down London streets.

Lamborghini Confirms Limited-Edition 650-HP Murcielago LP 650-4 Roadster
Following rumors sweeping the Web, Lamborghini has confirmed that it will build a limited-edition Murcielago LP 650-4 Roadster. Like its name suggests, the AWD supercar gets a bump in horsepower over the LP 640-4 model.
Only 50 examples of the LP 650-4 will be handbuilt by the craftspeople in Sant'Agata and all will be finished in a Grigio Telesto livery. Contrasting the rich grey paint are bright Arancio orange trimmings sprinkled throughout the exterior and interior. The color covers the massive brake calipers at all four corners as well. The louvered transparent cover reveals a reworked 6.5L V-12 powerplant making a total of 650 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque -- or 10 more horsepower than the standard version. What exactly Lamborghini's engineers did to churn out more power is closely under wraps, but the installation of a revised ECU or intake/exhaust system is our best guess. With the extra ponies onboard, the car races to 62 mph in 3.4 sec and can hit a v-max of 205 mph.
Slide inside the Alcantara and leather buckets and the Arancio pieces continue to attract the eyes all around. Stitching, piping and gearshift paddles are finished in the bright orange. An asymmetric dash featuring black Alcantara Nera on the driver's side and black Nero Perseu leather on the passenger's side hints at the exotic's exclusivity. No word on how much of a premium well-heeled Lamborghini buyers will have to pay for this grey goddess when it goes on sale at a yet undisclosed date, but don't expect it to be cheap. The standard Murcielago LP 640-4 Roadster commands a cool $295,000 base price.
